Invoices in Client Portal

The client portal feature enables clients to have access all files and details related to active and completed matters. Here, matters, progress updates – court updates and notes, shared documents, legal team, bills, and secured messages are stored.

You can set up a client portal for new clients, and existing clients onboarded to your Digitslaw account.

Clients can view invoices and send payment confirmation to your firm through the portal. You would receive the payment confirmation in your firm’s e-mail.

Set up a client portal for new clients

  1. Select Clients from the menu bar
  2. Click on Add clients
  3. Fill out all relevant fields, and include an email address because the client will have access to the portal through the email address entered.
  4. Scroll down to the Client Portal Settings and select Yes for client portal access
  1. Click on Save Client or Save & Run Conflict Check
  2. In their emails, the client will receive instructions on how to access the client portal.

Set up client portal for existing or imported clients

  1. Select Clients from the menu bar
  2. Select the client for whom you want to create a client portal.
  3. Click on Edit Client
  4. Verify that the client’s email address is entered
  5. Scroll down to the Client Portal Settings and select Yes for client portal access 
  1. Click on Save 
  2. In their emails, the client will receive instructions on how to access the client portal.
